Deep Sea Dive
Oculus Virtual Reality
Release: July 2013
A demo to test the Oculus Rift, a new piece of cutting edge virtual reality technology that drops you into a very believable 3D world. We are very interested in virtual reality experiences that can be enjoyed without a control device so we created this demo in five days to test how you would feel in the deep sea, with lots of marine life paying you a visit as you swim in the blue deep. It so far has had a great response and we are now looking at version 2!
Release: July 2013
A stylistic, low-poly 3D short that sees the Gods of Olympus descend upon central London to battle it out in a trial of athleticism to light the torch. This was a successful concept piece we produced last year and recently expanded into a full 3D short to celebrate the Olympics Encore Anniversary this July.
It has been a big hit since we released it in July. Having been featured as a Vimeo Staff Pick and recieving in excess of 50K plays.
Client: Carte Blanche Group
Release: January 2013
Carte Blanche commissioned us to build a kinect game to support the launch of the iphone app during the London toy fair. This was a big hit with the crowds and the Carte Blanche staff working on the stall.
The game involves taking control of Coco the monkey, one of the Blue Nose Friends Characters and playing the bongo’s in time with his backing band. We built it using XNA within a couple of months.
This app takes learning to new levels. Combining cutting edge xsens motion capture and one of the highest ranking 8th Dan Grandmasters in the UK.
We were commissioned by Fluxx Adventures to design and build the app. The aim being to test market demand and the precision of the 3D motion capture technology. It was created in our favourite 3D engine Unity3D in 3 months and released for the ipad in April of 2013.
Blue Nose Friends - Tatty Puppy
This app for girls and boys aged 4-7 follows the adventures of Tatty Puppy as he visits the magical worlds of the Blue Nose Friends. Each world gives children unique games to play. From making a song with Coco and his beach band, to planting flowers in the garden with Passion and even playing hide and seek with Binky the Panda using the gyroscope on your mobile.
We developed the idea of the app from client workshops, designed and built the app right through to release on the Appstore.
